The banks of the Arga River form a small universe inhabited by herons, pines, oaks, beech martens and poplars. Óskar becomes one more among them. The architecture blends into the forest, giving shelter to a person — a new inhabitant of this natural environment. The project consists mainly of three enclosed pavilions placed within three superstructures, connected by pathways through the woods, walkways suspended in the air, and platforms among the branches. The pavilions frame the forest, the sky, the river, and nature itself; as well as the shadows, the submerged island, waiting, and memory. The interior looks outward. The pavilions are physically hermetic spaces, protected from the cold and the rain, places of refuge — yet visually open to nature. The furniture and the wooden-panel flooring provide places to sit, lie down, or walk barefoot in contact with the outdoors — a soft and warm refuge in direct relation with nature. A single base structure supports the interior CLT panels, the exterior wooden cladding, and the glass that encloses each pavilion. From the outside, the pavilions appear held within the superstructure. The system is the same in all the pavilions, but rotated depending on what each one frames and where it is oriented. It is modular, based on 2.1 m and 0.82 m, so that, in addition to supporting the cladding, it also serves as the framework for the doors. The wooden slats that cover the interior of the pavilions are of the same dimensions in each one; only the openings for the doors change.
La orilla del río Arga es un pequeño universo habitado por garzas, pinos, robles, garduñas y álamos. A ellos se suma Óskar. La arquitectura se integra en el bosque, y da hogar a una persona, un nuevo habitante de esta naturaleza. El proyecto consta, principalmente, de tres pabellones cerrados dentro de tres superestructuras, conectados por recorridos en el bosque, accesos sobre el aire y pla-taformas entre las ramas. Los pabellones enmarcan el bosque, el cielo, el río, la naturaleza; y las sombras, la isla su-mergida, la espera y el recuerdo. El interior mira al exterior. Los pabellones son espacios físicamente herméticos, aislados del frío y la lluvia, lugares de refugio; pero visualmente abiertos a la naturaleza. Los muebles y el suelo de paneles de madera son lugares donde sentarse, tumbarse o ca-minar descalzo en contacto con el exterior, un refugio suave y cálido en contacto con la na-turaleza. Una misma estructura base sirve de soporte para los paneles de CLT en el interior, el reves-timiento de madera exterior y el vidrio que cierra cada pabellón. Los pabellones se perciben desde el exterior contenidos en la superestructura. Es igual en todos los pabellones, pero rotada según qué enmarca y hacia dónde mira. Se modula en base a 2,1m y 0,82m para servir, además de soporte para los revestimientos, de bastidor de las puertas. Las láminas de madera que cubren el interior de los pabellones son de las mismas dimen-siones en cada uno, sólo cambian las aberturas para las puertas.
